Scanning, Projecting, and Pointing Your Way to Student Success
A scanner in the classroom can be a very resourceful instructional tool for specifically teaching students to read and/or for improving reading skills and comprehension. It can be utilized to scan and save story and text book pages for projection purposes. Pointing to and resounding projected words that students may not recognize in print, and doing so on a regular basis, would instantaneously and simultaneously improve reading skills for the class as a whole, and would eventually reduce episodes of students needing additional assistance with reading, which is essential for mastery of all subjects.
